"AI" Of Human-Kind
"AI" Of Human-Kind
"AI"... of Human-kind!
"Which Emerged First, The Chicken Or maybe the Egg? "
Several years ago, you might recall a publication describing our growing dependency after machines, devices, and "AI. " In several occasions, I've experimented with to bring awareness to this phenomenon of man-made intelligence's talents in creating and/or re-creating itself... time and time again. What once was a 'science-fiction' story has recently been taken to bear, in living color, a scientific simple fact.
This article, "Device Machine Type, " has described circumstances and descriptions where automated programs or robotics have recently been created to emulate the activities, abilities, and appearance(s) of mankind... "Human-Like"; "The Graphic of Its' Creator! very well
How often times have you been in your car and engaged in a shouting match or argumentative interaction with your 'GPS' or "onboard interface? inches Aw, c'mon now... have not you gotten angry and screamed at the device when the voice in back of it gives you screwed or wrong directions? You need to have.
Selene Yeager, an adding author, spoke of a doctoral student at Stanford University, who is experienced in Human-Technology-Interaction.
"We (humans) get confused and upset because we don't really know what the 'GPS' is "thinking, " David Miller says.
This author (yours truly), however, is and has been guilty of that particular kind of behavior. I actually can remember keying in a direction (when that wasn't satisfactory, I attempted to engage the tone command option), the darned thing told me; taken me to take a highway and exit... I actually followed suit. When We realized the directions where totally wrong - the accursed voice put all of us on "The Highway To Hell! "
We visited sixty miles outside and away from our prepared "Pocono Mountain" destination.
Very well, I'm here to notify you, I momentarily (Oh, like so many) became insane and started shouting at the voice inside of the 'GPS system. ' Miller continued to say, "In the future, whenever your GPS gives you directions, it may give you a rationale, in order that you have an improved two-way romantic relationship. "
... Yeah, right. Now i'm happy when and if the one thing gets me to my unfamiliar destination(s)... via the correct route! I actually don't mean to be to very the device... it's a pretty good little tool when it works as expected.
"A Bite Of The Apple" addressed the 'IT' community on big issues relating to Apple's stance on "covert and proprietary practices" in the wonderful world of technology; hardware and software - particularly its hardware products. Apple's 'IT' decision makers espouses an ergonomic desk flaw which reveals a preference, They've said "Apple-like" form over function, i. e., the iMAC fittings on the trunk of their machines are designed and/or decided by anal retention.
Their 'IT' management team describes one possible meaning of "Anal Preservation. " It's a point on a curve at which the curvature changes from convex to cavité or vice-versa. It can even be called a "Flex Point" or "Point of Inflection. " Apple management says its proprietary devices are putting more effect into business user marketing. Apples' devices are making their way in to the enterprise industry because 'IT' managers, not users, like them.
The 'end-user' report stresses the fact, suggesting the product(s) being as good and excellent on ease of use, design, and dependability. Does anyone recall the definition of cloning?
Most of us have PC's in our homes today. And there are many others who feel they are, and believe they are a step ahead while utilizing home-robots like "Alexa" or IBM'S "Watson" and a myriad of cloned devices that clean, monitor, and coordinate their daily lives or lifestyles.
Where's your mobile phone?
It used to be the desk-top computer that was the central 'Internet' connection. Then it was the 'Laptop. ' The "Tablet" remains popular these days, but the "Smart-Phone" outshines them all. All you have to do is simply browse around... Appear and see how many people are walking, working, riding, driving, and soaring... dependent after those constantly unrelinquishing devices to support them in their living, and their very lives on this planet.
Recently, a vicious computer malware wrestled control from some 400, 00 computers across more than 160 countries with the worst international cyber attacks and computer infections.
The virus blacklisted all usage of programs, data, mainframes, and networks except if the computer's owner(s) paid a ransom. The elicitable funds could only be paid via "Bitcoin. inches
Bitcoin is online forex that is almost impossible to trace. The Bitcoin currency is traded for the purchase of a "ransom key. " Typically, victims forked out the money only to not get the important thing to unlock their computers (or) systems, shedding both their money and their data.
This event should serve as an important wake-up call to users with the much prompted "must-do" procedure(s) on Computer systems and Internet devices in their care or use and the prevention of viruses, botnets, web-crawlers, viruses, worms, and so out
I certainly agree with author, Doug Shadel, in suggesting that users/owners regularly backup your important data to an external drive or distant storage service; have a pop-up blocker running on your web browser at all times; instantly leave websites you've been sent to without your approval; use a reputable anti virus program - keeping it updated at all times; make sure your software (and anti-virus software) is up to date; no longer click on links or open attachments from email messages you don't know; and buy only legitimate software - and register it.
Do you remember the scene in film creation company "Star Wars, inch the place that the bar-tender shouts at 'Luke Skywalker' to get his droids out of his establishment?
That scene is an effect of human prejudices against machines or robot-kind. Of detroit, Michigan's automobile industry and workforce is all but totally manned by software (or robotics). Robots doing major businesses on humans and animals alike. Software are preparing foods, taking and shipping items, traveling cars, and diagnosing individual ailments and diseases. Automated programs are answering telephones and redirecting calls. Robots are calling you on your telephones, reminding you of past due bills, visits, prescription pick-ups, and making attempts at selling you goods and other services. Robots are building connections, buildings, and homes. Automated programs performing just about nearly anything and everything a human-being or animal can and has been doing. Inquire yourself... how many careers have been lost and are being lost to robots?
"Many businesses are using sentiment analysis to gauge the mood(s) on social networks and/or the web... but getting understanding takes new tactics and skills, " said Doug Henschen of 'Techweb. '
"It definitely takes new tactics and skill-sets in order to acquire a position in the new world than it, BI, Marketing communications, and Analytics. " This kind of conclusion is postulated via the published article, "Destruction and Creation - A New Jobs Hyperbole. inches No one can reject the massive and major changes which may have took place in the 'New Globe Economy' of this hundred years. What's going to happen in the centuries to come - will we be "Star-Trek-Like? " What about a world and future that way of "Logan's Function? " Will robots become the new judges, legal professionals, congressional appointees, senators, or president? People who are aware, interested, and/or encouraged in or toward the continuation of mankind's leadership over machines, must become the master of both equally sides of IT/BI.
AI: Artificial Intelligence... is in contrast to the natural (Human/Animal-like) intelligence... the ability of a computer or robot doing what is normally or commonly done by humans or animals - with brains or intelligent abilities... the ability to think.
Just how long could it be before humans (man-kind) are completely out-thought by "AI" - becoming completely and utterly our replacements instead of being our once-upon-a-time maids?
"How Long? Not Much time! inch
Now, doesn't this argument make you question...
"AI"... of Human-kind?
"Which Came First, The Rooster Or The Egg? inch
Til Next Time...
